Foundation Preparatory Academy’s amazing 8th grader created the winning art design for the 18 Steps: The Journey to Justice in Education playbill art contest! Her artwork was featured on the cover of the playbill, and her entire class was invited to attend the impactful play.
She also had the extraordinary honor of meeting Dr. Leona Tate, a civil rights icon and one of the first students to desegregate New Orleans Public Schools. This milestone coincides with the 64th Anniversary of New Orleans Public School Desegregation—a historic reminder of the ongoing journey toward justice in education. Congratulations to our Prepster for the incredible achievement and for representing Foundation Preparatory so well!
