JOSHUA COX
BOARD MEMBER
Joshua Cox graduated from Yale University, where he was a standout on the varsity baseball team and received the William Neely Mallory Award. After teaching middle school English in New Orleans, he attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Fels Institute of Government. Returning to New Orleans in 2014, he worked as a commercial litigator and later served as the Director of Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs at the Orleans Parish School Board. He then became Senior Advisor and Director of Strategic Initiatives for Mayor LaToya Cantrell, leading key initiatives during COVID-19. Currently, Josh runs Resilience Works, a national labor brokerage focused on climate change adaptation. He aims to work at the intersection of philanthropy, business, and social impact to drive social equity.
