Brooke Wyatt
BOARD MEMBER
Brooke Wyatt serves as the Senior Quality Assurance Data Analyst remotely for the Liver Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Brooke is a trained researcher with a comprehensive background in issues around health care and health disparities among minority/marginalized populations in the United States. Brooke brings to the board expertise in program development and implementation, grant writing and fundraising efforts, as well as process evaluation. Brooke and her husband moved to New Orleans from New York and have quickly rooted themselves in their new community. Brooke joined the Board of Directors at Foundation Prep in 2018 serving as Chair of our Development Committee and then President of the Foundation Prep Board 2019-2020. She was initially drawn to Foundation Prep (and now CANO’s) holistic approach to caring for the student both inside and outside of the classroom while implementing practices that actively combat disparities in education. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in Biological Anthropology, an MPH in Epidemiology from the School of Public Health and Health Services at George Washington University, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health in Community Health Science at SUNY Downstate School of Public Health. Brooke now serves as a member of the CANO Board.
